Hello
If you are going to change waste collection to fortnightly could we get larger bins please as I manage to fill mine weekly as well as the recycling bin we are good at recycling. Food wast collection would be great.
Perhaps the council could offer a wheelie bin wash service for a small fee.
Since the tip burnt down perhaps a special rate to encourage people to use the council collection service a bit more this could create a revenue and create less fly tipping at the same time ?

The very last thing to cut back on would be refuse collection. There has already been an explosion of fly tipping and an increase in vermin problems with the Covid restrictions and tip closed down. Reducing refuse will end up costing more in the long run.

Please don’t reduce refuse collection, unless you are going to provide food waste only containers that are collected and emptied weekly (see Beverly Town in Yorkshire).
I also have a large recycling bin that gets filled right to the top most weeks. So a weekly recycling collection would be beneficial, we are a family of 7 so produce a lot of recycling and waste. If you drop collections to every other week you will find peoples bins over flowing, the cats, foxes and rats will have a field day! You will end up needing to send a clearing up team to keep the streets clear of rubbish each week. Also if you drop collections, what about your employees?
